Hatfield Equity Alliance works to ensure our local systems offer equity in access to both tools and opportunities for all citizens; and that Black, indigenous and all people of color feel welcome, safe, and valued in our town. As a grassroots, local organization, we support and facilitate town-wide education with an emphasis on the systemic nature of injustice by leveraging existing materials, organizations, and communication platforms. We seek to call-in our neighbors, particularly those who may be new to the fight for justice and help Hatfield find new and visible ways to show our support for Black lives while leading the effort to make the systemic changes needed to protect those lives.
